Writing prompt #2: Through the Eyes of a Child

March 23, 2017

By Shawn Thomas Anderson

I love this image of these boys running through the field. There’s something nostalgic about it—something dramatic and slightly foreboding, yet curious, adventurous, and fun.

Take these boys on a journey.

Are they running toward something? Or maybe they are running from something.

Feel free to alter the field to enhance the mood of the piece. Make it sunnier, or darker. Add color and original details to bring the scene or story to life.

Come. Run with me.
